ABOUT MIA

Mia is proudly neurodivergent, Trans Non-Binary and Kabi Kabi/Noongar Aboriginal.

 

Mia has worked in the music & arts industry for 5+ years running their own business, Plant Milk Music. Mia's business is focused around supporting and uplifting Womxn, Gender-Diverse, Transgender, BIPOC, First Nations and LGBTQIA+ artists in Boorloo. Mia is also a drag artist, and a musician and works in other sectors such as social media management, booking, entertainment and support services. Mia's main focus is providing, protecting and nurturing safe spaces, services and practices for LGBTIQA+/BIPOC in the community, mostly in the arts and entertainment industries. Mia believes deeply in the sanctity and nourishment of art, expression, advocacy and passion. 

 

Mia has an eye for the stranger side of life and enjoys doing drag, makeup, costume design, art, performance & music on the darker side of the spectrum. You'll find Mia making something spooky through their artistic outlets, smashing it out on the drum kit or researching their culture in their spare time.
