Born and raised in Fremantle, Kass is a proud queer Ballardong Noongar Yorga with familial ties to the Wheatbelt (Northam, York, Toodyay). With vast experience in higher education, equity inclusion, marketing and events, Kass is currently working at Winyama, having previously worked at Curtin University in Student Services and Marketing.
Kass is passionate about human rights, equity and inclusion, learning, and legislative reform. She's eager to help make a lasting change for young LGBTIQA+ people like herself and to advocate for Indigenous and Incarcerated LGBTIQA+ people.
An advocate for Indigenous governance, Indigenous success and the environment, Kass is an exciting addition to the YPN committee where she can continue to be a creator of positive change for Australia’s Indigenous community.
Outside of work Kass loves to spend time outdoors; snorkelling, and stand-up paddle boarding. She also enjoys trying new activities and spending time with friends.
