Below is a map of various locations in Western Australia that are safe spaces for LGBTIQA+ young people.

HQ Space @ headspace Joondalup
HQ Space is where young people aged 12–25 can feel free to be themselves – now running at headspace Joondalup twice a month!
First and third Saturday of each month 1 - 3pm

Pridespace @ City of Rockingham
Safe, inclusive LGBTIQA+ group for
12-17 year olds.
Last Wednesday of every month 4 - 5:30pm

Our Place: A Safe Space @ Swan City Youth Service
A safe and welcoming fortnightly drop-in where you can relax, be yourself, and connect with others. For LGBTIQA+ young people aged 12 - 25 years old. New dates are added regularly!

Spectrum @ Albany Pride
Spectrum is a group for any young person aged 12 - 25 in the Albany area to come along and hang out with other young people who are diverse in sexuality and gender.

Youth Diversity Inc.
@ Cockburn Youth Centre
A social support group of young people aged 15 - 24 that are diverse in sex, gender, and sexuality.
Every Thursday 5 - 8pm & extra events!

Unique As @ City of Kwinana (Zone Youth)
Hang out, meet new people and get involved in their social lounge for LGBTIQA+ young people aged 12 - 24.

The Sprinkles Crew @ headspace Mandurah
A fun and inclusive group aimed at connecting and support the local LGBTIQA+ community.
For young people aged 12 - 25 years old.

LGBTIQA+ Hangout @ headspace Fremantle
A safe space for LGBTIQA+ identifying young people aged 12 - 25 years old and their allies to hangout, play games, eat free food, and socialise.

Anchors Youth Centre
@ City of Joondalup
A drop-in centre that isn't specifically LGBTIQA+ focussed but is a safe space for all and has a high population of LGBTIQA+ young people that attend. For young people aged 11 - 25.

KNQ (Online community) Kununurra - East Kimberley
KNQ aims to connect those who identify within the diverse gender and sexuality community and their allies to share events happening in the Kununurra - East Kimberley area. Open to all ages.

Sexuality and Gender Acceptance (SAGA) group (online community) Kununurra - East Kimberley
The SAGA community is about accepting people's gender or sexuality no matter what it is. They aim to bring people in the LGBTIQA+ community together. Open to all ages.

PFLAG Bunbury
(online community)
PFLAG are the families and friends of people who are LGBTIQA+. Their aim is to keep families together. They organise regular support groups and events for the community. Open to all ages.

PHLAGS (online community)
Port Hedland
PHLAGS (Port Hedland Lesbian and Gay Scene) is an inclusive group created to provide the community with events for LGBTIQA+ identifying people who live in the Northwest Region. Open to all ages.

Regional Rainbows (regional LGBTIQA+ organisation) Esperance
Regional Rainbows is an organisation based in Esperance that works to make Esperance more inclusive for LGBTIQA+ people. They host regular meetups and community events.

LGBTIQA+ Drop in @ headspace Kalgoorlie
A safe, non-judgemental space for young people aged 12 - 25 years old who identify as LGBTIQA+.
Every Wednesday from 3:30pm

Transpire @ Cockburn Integrated Health
A safe space for gender diverse individuals to expand their connections and community. The space is intended to be support, empowering, build confidence, and facilitate meaningful interactions with likeminded people. The space is facilitated by social work students from Curtin University.

LGBTIQA+ Drop in @ headspace Esperance
A safe space for LGBTIQA+ individuals aged 12 - 25 in the Esperance community.
Every Wednesday 3:30 - 5pm

Goldfields Pride
A queer-led community organisation supporting the LGBTQIA+ community with resources; advocacy; work with local businesses; and inclusive events, to ensure the Goldfields is a safe and welcoming place for LGBTQIA+ folks.

Safe Haven - Freo Youth @ Fremantle Library
The LGBTQIA+ Safe Haven is a space for Rainbow youth to hang out with like-minded individuals, explore common issues & concerns as well as chat over craft, board games, gaming consoles & more!
For more information email FYN@fremantle.wa.gov.au - the LGBTQIA+ Safe Haven is suitable for youth ages 12 to 25.
